As you can tell by my blog title, I am a bit underenthused about learning new things. But...I want to learn to manage my new myspace page that intimidates me, I really want to explore YouTube and blogging sounds like a fun thing to do. Over the years working at the library, I've had the opportunity to keep up with the basics of technology. So far, I've avoided getting too deeply into it, but with this program, I hope to learn to have fun with it, instead of drooping around saying things like the title of this blog. My kids have lots of fun with things like myspace, etc. and I'd really like to participate in their on-line lives.
As I complete this program, I hope to establish a better attitude toward learning and to take the action to learn. This rut of mine is a pretty comfy place, you know. I already have the confidence in my ability to learn, just not in my motivation.
So, keep up, folks, we're going on a ride and who knows where I will end up?
